Multi-technical installations for the sustainable Pôle Scolaire des Grands Prés campus in Mons

A new campus for the learning environment of tomorrow

The Pôle Scolaire des Grands Prés is one of the largest educational projects currently being developed in the region of Mons. Initiated by the Province of Hainaut, the City of Mons and the Gabrielle Passelecq intermunicipal association, the new campus will bring together a nursery, a primary and secondary school, a sports hall and a cafeteria within a single site.

Throughout the project, sustainability, user comfort and a high-quality learning environment are key priorities. For the execution of the multi-technical installations, the project partners rely on the expertise of EEG Namur.

Extensive coordination is essential for a complex construction project

The development of the campus covers the entire construction process, from earthworks and structural works to technical installations, finishing works and external landscaping. Multiple disciplines are carried out simultaneously, making close coordination essential to keep the project on schedule.

Lot 1 of the project was awarded to ARTES TWT, which is working together with EEG Namur for its execution. Within this package, EEG Namur is responsible for all HVAC, sanitary and electrical installations in the secondary education buildings.

Thanks to realistic planning and a phased execution strategy, the works are progressing according to schedule. Approximately 30% of the project has been completed so far, with all construction partners continuously coordinating their activities to ensure efficient execution.
